Time for an XQuery Transformer ?

I thought that XQuery was going to be an SQL alternative.
I was slightly wrong:

XHive (http://www.x-hive.com) has a cool Cocoon/XMLNativeDatabase/XQuery 
demo. It comes with the 30-day eval of their payware XND, and is a 
Source and Generator.
