Payment being created when an order shipped

Does anyone know how to turn off payments being created against an invoice
when an order is shipped? This is a real issue. And must be configured
somewhere.

Hi Robert

Take a look at 

       Accounting/Config/AccountingConfig.properties

and try setting 

      accounting.payment.salesorder.autocreate=N

the default setting is Y
