* roadmap.html
(Remove temporary APIs): I call this issue completed for 1.8. I did a few
cleanup and consolidation rounds over the last few months to move to
internal apis that make more sense feature wise and to avoid double
queries to fetch similar related information.
These are all internal apis and as such we can even update them in patch
releases when necessary.
For 1.9 we should check which of these should be made more public to
allow third party clients easier access to the information they provide,
but that is a different roadmap item.
