We may ask Christoph if he has started to use it again, that would
make one out of three.

I'll go ahead and merge the VAJ fixes over about Friday if nobody
objects.  I can do so for Javah as well, while I'm at it.

Timeframe, hmm, I don't think we'll need a beta or an RC, do we?

Fair enough - although I'm not sure if both VAJ users are using Ant :-). 

So, a 1.5.4 release for javah and VAJ fixes. Timeframe?

I agree with one exception - the VAJ changes.

AFAIK VAJ mostly still runs on a VM of its own, a 1.1 compatible VM.
So it might be worth to make the tasks available in the last release
that supports 1.1.

Seriously, if this is to go ahead, I think we should only fix this particular 
problem. Spending effort on merging other fixes will be somewhat of a waste.
