[VOTE] Release Tuscany Java SCA 1.1-incubating (RC3a)
A new release candidate has been created to address comments made on the
IPMC Tuscany Java SCA 1.1-incubating RC3 VOTE thread on general@

The follow changes have been made to create RC3a
- where possible remove the work files that are included in the distribution
in error.
- make the tag more closely match the distributions by removing modules and
files from the tag that are not strictly required in the distribution
- remove the lower level NOTICE and LICENSE files from, for example,
demos/mortgage-loanapproval/src/main/resources/META-INF as these are not
actually required and are causing confusion.
- update the LICENSE file to provided version numbers for all jars (and
correct the ones pointed out)
Some small changes that just missed RC3 have also been included
added - demos/alert-aggregator-webapp/src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/geronimo-
web.xml - to make the demo run on Geronimo
updated - demos/bigbank-account/build.xml - fixed a variable name
updated - demos/secure-bigbank/secure-bigbank-account/build.xml - fixed a
variable name
Please review and vote on the 1.1 release artifacts of Tuscany SCA for Java.

+1 to release 1.1 RC3a.
I reviewed, built and tested on Linux RHEL5:
- SUN JDK 1.5.0_10 -> OK, I didn't get the build error others have seen
in the databindings itest [1] but I suggest to put a note about it on
the release download page.
- IBM JDK 1.5.0 / J9 2.3 -> OK.
I tested the Webapps on Tomcat 6.0.14 and WebSphere Application Server
6.1 fixpack 9 -> OK.
I have created TUSCANY-2024 [2] for the two missing .java files reported
by sebb [3] with priority = minor, fix target = next release.

I was able to build the source distro from a clean maven repo. I tried
a selection of samples and they all ran OK, with the exception of the
problem already reported as TUSCANY-2001. From a quick look at
LICENSE/NOTICE/CHANGES/RELEASE_NOTES, all seemed well there.

Hi,
I observe that the issues mentioned here have been fixed. The LICENSE file
is really clean and precise now (an additional thanks for this, Simon).
I've also run some samples successfully.
Here is my +1.

I've been able to give it a whirl now....
Here's my +1
PS Can we somehow updated the POM files to force -Xmx1024m ? I can't
build this stuff without making sure that the Java heap has a reasonable
size.

Most if not all issues raised on the IPMC seems to be fixed now, I
tried couple standalone samples as well web application samples and
all looks good.
