[jira] [Commented] (TOMEE-4189) java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.openejb.loader.SystemInstance
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-4189?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17695823#comment-17695823 ]
Eric Hamilton commented on TOMEE-4189:
--------------------------------------
I noticed that the catalina scripts are not honoring the JAVA_OPTS variable on the version command, which is contrary to the documentation. I created a Tomcat ticket for this issue: [https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=66507]
[~rzo1] Heads up that if Tomcat applies a fix to include the JAVA_OPTS variable in the command, will also need to patch the TomEE installer logic similarly. This change is needed to pass the "tomee.keep-server-info" parameter to TomEE and override the version manipulation logic.
