[jira] [Resolved] (SOLR-735) CoreContainer.unload should remove all aliases of a core

Hoss Man resolved SOLR-735.
---------------------------

       Resolution: Not A Problem
    Fix Version/s: (was: 4.0)

I'm going to bite the bullet and resolve this as not a problem.

1) there is no method CoreContainer.unload
2) even if the spirit of the issue was more broadly to do this to deal with the UNLOAD admin command, it has been documented for quite a long time with "If a core is registered under more than one name, only that specific mapping is removed." so this seems like a bad idea.

We can always re-open later if people disagree.

> Similar to SOLR-722, this is a *core* operation (like load/reload); it should affect all aliases of a core.
> In this case, it should close the core through all its aliases.
