Password type - encryption?

Subversion caches userid/password information for authorization to the
various repositories we access. Currently, svn on our Linux boxes is
using a "simple" (i.e., unencrypted) password type, whereas our Windows
boxes are using a "wincrypt" password type.

Does anyone know how to set the password type Linux used by svn in Linux
so that we can use a suitable encryption algorithm?

- Scott

I don't think that feature is available. See also:
