About Kafka storage plug-in

Greetings, 
      From documentation, Drill's Kafka storage plugin can ONLY support query Kafka topic (map to a table) finitely - return the result (from the earlist to least) at the time of query?  Instead of Kafka KSQL, querying streaming infinitely? 

      If I am right?  Thanks!

Hi Nai,

Yes, you are right on that. The main usecase for Drill Kafka storage plugin
is for Adhoc queries.
