> When AMQ runs for couple of days and there is lot of message traffic, PS Old Gen memory pool keeps on growing. i have tried fine tuning JVM options for GC but no help.
> what i realize is when i hit purge on the queues using JMX then PS Old Gen goes down again, even if there are no messages in the AMQ all the produced messages are consumed.
> in my last posting i got response from a fellow AMQ member that in 5.0 it cleans the messages after the old message count reaches 1000Message or something, but that doesn't appear to be working here.
> this scenario makes me believe that there is some relationship between the old message cleanup and "PS Old Gen" size increase.
> Thanks!
