Okay, I was able to use your code to repro it working on iOS 5 but not 6. However, it looks like the error is in your code and iOS5 was just more forgiving.

You should change your db.transaction() call from:

db.transaction(function, [], win, fail)

to:

db.transaction(function, fail, win)
