Turbine going TLP - pending infrastructure changes, including to this mailing list

Now that our proposal to become a top-level project (TLP) of the Apache
Software Foundation (ASF) has been passed by the board, we will begin
the process of migrating our resources across from
jakarta.apache.org/turbine to turbine.apache.org.

There are a multitude of things that are going to change with this move,
please see https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRB-44 for full details.

Some of the tasks attached to TRB-44 may occur quicker than others. In
particular I draw your attention to the fact that the mailing lists for
this project are likely to change fairly soon. The specific changes are
that turbine-dev@jakarta.apache.org will become dev@turbine.apache.org
and turbine-user@jakarta.apache.org will become
user@turbine.apache.org. In addition to these, the commit messages that
currently go to turbine-cvs@jakarta.apache.org will be directed to
commits@turbine.apache.org

The site turbine.apache.org will also be set up at some point in the
future, but it is likely to take a while for us to get this into shape
with updated links, etc., so please bear with us while we jump through
all of the necessary hoops and get things updated.

The mailing list changes relating to Turbine becoming a TLP have been made.

You can now find Turbine at http://turbine.apache.org/ - this is mostly
set up, though there may be a few holes yet to be addressed (send a note
to the list if you think you have found one). Note that documentation
for old releases may contain broken links - most of these will not be fixed.

Previously there was a tdk-dev list - while this has been migrated
across to tdk-dev@turbine.apache.org, I have asked for it to be
decommissioned (the TDK sub-project closed a long time ago).

Please see http://turbine.apache.org/contact.html for details of the
renamed mailing lists.
