Please describe
1. how you invoked the build (in the studio ide? which target project?
command line? what command?)
2. is awk correctly installed on your machine?
3. which package you obtained (-win32-src.zip? .tar.gz? CVS checkout?)
4. what Visual Studio 6.0 service pack you have installed.
