[jira] [Commented] (MESOS-7495) Initialize libprocess using getNonLoopbackIP.

James Peach commented on MESOS-7495:
------------------------------------

The benefit is that this reduces the dependency on DNS, but the drawback is that we might make a bad choice of address (assuming that the address in DNS is more likely to be globally available).

Filing this for discussion with [~bmahler].

> Initialize libprocess using getNonLoopbackIP.

> Rather than depending resolving the hostname in {{process::initialize()}}, we could hoist {{mesos::tests::internal::getNonLoopbackIP()}} up into {{libprocess}} and use that (or equivalent code) to find an address that meets our requirements.
