Removing FreeMarker from 2.2

Hi,

Is anyone actually interested in supporting FreeMarker in 2.2?
If someone steps up and makes the commitment to support it than
great. If not I think we should leave it in 2.1 and remove it
from 2.2.

If we make a unified template service than it will need some
work and I'm not interested in touching it myself. Does anyone
actually use it?
