Using dbpedia_43k.solrindex.zip
Hello Folks,
In the March Report Hangout it was mentioned that updating a solr index is
as easy as replacing a solrindex.zip if the Datafile Tracker is set to
"sync"
Could someone:
- elaborate on where/what to change to enable the "sync" option.
- detail exactly where the solrindex.zip file should go.
The existing documentation
<https://github.com/apache/stanbol/tree/trunk/commons/solr#managedsolrserver>
on this refers to a directory (/sling/datafiles) that does not exist.
Thanks!

Hi,
Search for 'Synchronized' in [1]. By default it is set to 'true' what
means that synchronizing is in fact the default behavior.
NOTE: To get an indexed updated you will need to delete the file in
the datafiles folder wait for 5sec or longer and only afterwards copy
(or symlink) the new version of the data file. This is because the
DataFileProvider does currently not check for modification dates of
files but only checks if files where deleted/added every 5 seconds.

The directory of the MainDataFileProvider is by default
'./stanbol/datafiles/' but this can be changed by configuration.
