Supporting ODFDOM

Hello everybody,

my name is Bjoern Kirchhoff. Maybe you have already seen me on one of the ODF-Plugfests in the past. After talking to Svante Schubert I would like to
inform you, that the Berlin based company - ESCRIBA - I work for, wants to support the ODFDOM project. Since we are making strongly use of this library,
we would be happy to deliver bug fixes, patches and optimizations in the future.

We are developing a software named ESCRIBA, that automates the generation of documents based on data that is provided by external systems like e.g. SAP
or Salesforce.

Best regards,
Bjoern

Hi -

I find it exciting that others are now joining. Perhaps there is a hope for ODFToolkit to continue at the Apache Software Foundation. Keep email and questions coming on this developer’s Mailing list.

FYI - I am on the IPMC, POI PMC and OpenOffice PMC. Some clear traction may hold my interest in this area as well.

I am very interested in document generation and transformation,

Regards,
Dave

Hello Bjoern,

Welcome to the project! Glad to have ESCRIBA on board! :)
As you are based in Berlin as I am, we surely might meet in the close
future to discuss potential ideas in detail face to face!
Nevertheless, we will make sure that everyone here is involved and is able
to receive the latest news.

Great your comany is not only interested, but dedicated to participate!
