replace occurrences of
 
{code:java}
public <T> T myMethod() {
    ...
    return (T) myObject;
}
{code}

... with ... 

{code:java}
public <T> T myMethod() {
    ...
    return Casts.uncheckedCast(myObject);
}
{code}

... such that we have a programmatic entry point for any unchecked casts.
