   in sparkdatasource write, guess the expectation is that, you can set the write mode to "Overwrite" and so its taken care of. while in deltastreamer, we can't do that. we always try to append and if dir(table base path) exists, probably we assume table exists. 
   
   I assume if you delete the table base path and retry, it should work.
