[jira] [Resolved] (YETUS-452) Python 3 compatibility for releasedocmaker and shelldocs

Allen Wittenauer resolved YETUS-452.
------------------------------------
    Resolution: Later

I'm going to close this as Later. As of YETUS-15, shelldocs and releasedocmaker are also pulled into Java via Jython. Jython only supports Python 2.7 as of this writing. So that's a major hurdle that would need to be overcome first.

> Ubuntu 16.04 has released and it defaults to Python 3 [See [release notes | https://wiki.ubuntu.com/XenialXerus/ReleaseNotes#Python_3] ].
> It will be nice if we can support both Python 2.6+ and Python 3.x
