mod_jk.c

I notice the examples do not have a reference such as

AddModule mod_jk.c in the httpd.conf file

They only have the LoadModule directive.

Is this an important omission (i tried to put one in but Apache would not
even load - it gave a
jk_post_config NULL erorr and stopped
