Apache restriction with Tomcat

Hello,

I have Tomcat 4.0.X and Apache 1.3.24 up and running with a servlet and
mod_webapp.c.

I would like to restrict access to this servlet. But as Apache has no
match for the servlet URL, there is no point of using Apache config or
am I missing something in Apache?

How could this be done?
