[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-10800) Misguiding error messages on AllowAllAuthenticator usage

Stefan Podkowinski created CASSANDRA-10800:
----------------------------------------------

Summary: Misguiding error messages on AllowAllAuthenticator usage
                 Key: CASSANDRA-10800
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-10800
             Project: Cassandra
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Stefan Podkowinski
            Priority: Trivial

Users trying to execute an operation that requires non-anonymous logins (e.g. create role) receive a "You have to be logged in and not anonymous to perform this request" message when using the default AllowAllAuthenticator. However, loging in to cqlsh using the cassandra user and password does not fix this and will result in the same error message.
