J2EE Pet Store Demo + Cocoon ?

Hi,

I am contemplating the possibilities of modifying the Pet Store from Sun to
use XSP instead of JSP to get above all browser independence.
Has anybody else tried this and do you think its a good idea to implement
something so dynamic in this manner ?

Johan

no

can't see how it'd be much faster (or slower, for that matter...) - that's
not the primary benefit xsp brings to the table.

Are there any updates on the J2EE Pet Store being converted from jsp to xsp?

Would it run faster using xsp?

I am underway down that avenue. So far I am still working on the shop
functionality while keeping the JSP.
Then I will make some custom WIDL tags and change the whole thing to XSP. I
will report on my findings.
