[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-4947) geofilt gives wrong results (indexed polygons)

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-4947?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13691255#comment-13691255 ]

Christian Winkler commented on SOLR-4947:
-----------------------------------------

Thanks for the clarification and sorry that I have not found it in the FAQ. I would never have thought of the inverted polygon as I was taking OpenStreetMap for granted. Even the WKT plotter there plots the correct polygon.

Maybe it makes sense to mention OpenStreetMap explicitly in the FAQ as probably many people will take data from there.

Thanks again

> Indexing only a part of Germany the query works fine and produces the correct results.
