[jira] [Created] (SOLR-9699) CoreStatus requests can fail if executed during a core reload

Alan Woodward created SOLR-9699:
-----------------------------------

Summary: CoreStatus requests can fail if executed during a core reload
                 Key: SOLR-9699
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-9699
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Default Security Level. Issues are Public)
            Reporter: Alan Woodward

CoreStatus requests delegate some of their response down to a core's IndexWriter. If the core is being reloaded, then there's a race between these calls and the IndexWriter being closed, which can lead to the request failing with an AlreadyClosedException.
