RE: [ERR 500] Caution ?

How many web servers do you have? Sounds like you better add more servers or
more horsepower.

Subject: [ERR 500] Caution ?

What percent of website 500 errors would be a warning to system load?

Example:
A well past month had 50 million hits, 4 million pages and generated 6
thousand 500 errors.
A more recent month have 88 million hits, 8 million page views and 55
thousand 500 errors.

In this case there was close to doube traffic but a huge jump in 500 errors.
Thoughts ?

Thanks

I agree ...

But I am wondering if anyone has documented or set guidelines for
something like this ....

    Consider the harder problem ...

... Explaining to non-computer people that this is a "bad-thing"

Any other resources out there ?

Thanks
