localhost appears not to resolve under 2.2.0

Hi,

An issue has cropped up which appears to suggest that 'localhost' is not
resolving in the v2.2.0 release. For details see
http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-300.

I'm away from my test environment right now, and so can't test this myself.
If anyone has encountered this issue or has a spare moment to hack together
and run a test, it would be much appreciated. If not, no problem.
