Personalization and Recommendation on Coupons and Daily Deals

Morning! we have a side-project in coupon/deal aggregation called
Deal51 - in need of some recommender expertise.

Reason for this post - we have yet to deploy any recommender or
personalization tools. We are including social integration to help a
bit - but it won't be the real thing ;o(

Should you be interested in the project - helping out putting together
a more involved MAHOUT recommender approach, please contact me at
thomas@deal51.com  - clearly a personalized recommender approach to
daily deals would be neat (no more mani/pedi for the boys / no more
car-detailing for the gals)

We are announcing a major design overhaul and new functionality at
O'Reilly web20 expo in San Fran on March 29th. If anyone is local,
