[jira] Commented: (STR-1467) [tiles] Add target to SimpleMenu
[ https://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/STR-1467?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#action_41211 ]
Antonio Petrelli commented on STR-1467:
---------------------------------------
I think that menu support under Tiles is pretty useless (sorry if I am a bit bad about it).
Tiles 2 provides support for them only for some sort of backward compatibility.

> It would be nice if a target attribute could be added to the
> org.apache.struts.tiles.beans.MenuItem. In this way it will be possible to
> direct a menu link to a new browser instance if desired, instead of the way it
> functions now which forces the link to be opened in the same window
