[jira] [Commented] (TIKA-1456) Visual Sentiment API parser

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-1456?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14589251#comment-14589251 ]

Aditya Dhulipala commented on TIKA-1456:
----------------------------------------

I've been going through the Aperture source and it seems they are using a purely JavaScript based implementation of the Sentibank API.

Does this task require us to read/understand the Sentibank API as illustrated in the research paper above AND then implement it in Java for Tika?

I've successfully built a war of aperture, and imported it into a tomcat project. But it just seems to a fully self-contained web-app (JavaScript based). . . I'm confused as to how this can be used within Tika.
