[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-15177) Handle RefGuide and JavaDoc on
solr.apache.org site

Cassandra Targett commented on SOLR-15177:
------------------------------------------
I'm not sure Jan what you had in mind for this, but in a recent Slack conversation with the Infra team they mentioned that the SVN repo where this stuff lives today is part of the old CMS and it's being decommissioned this year ([https://the-asf.slack.com/archives/CBX4TSBQ8/p1612203544249600]). So we have to move soon anyway.
In the same Slack thread as the above link, Gavin offered a couple of possibilities ([https://the-asf.slack.com/archives/CBX4TSBQ8/p1612204321258200]). I'm not sure how to evaluate the pros & cons here to know what to choose, we probably need a real dedicated conversation with Infra about it. Unless of course you had already worked that out and have a different idea.

> Make sure we have a working solution for referencing both old and new (9.x) ref-guides and javadoc.
> * Shall we move solr-related content in svn and point everything to the new site?
> * Make sure .htaccess rules work for this
