The issue occurs because the new `indexmap` release requires Rust `1.82`, but `teaclave-trustzone-sdk` is pinned to `1.80`, leading to an MSRV violation.

Upgrading the toolchain may not help, as Teaclave’s patched standard library only supports Rust 1.80. We will find another quick solution.

Is optee-os using a pinned version? If not, should it and would that prevented the issue at least there?

The VM used in optee_os CI did not change, nor did the Docker image that runs the checks. I suspect it's the Rust "packages" (crates?) that are used in this project which are "unstable" and may be "upgraded" without notice, creating fragile dependencies. But I obviously know little bout Rust so I stand to be corrected by the maintainers of this project :wink:
