   @kevdoran We support either route of curl security layering. Previously we had, "brew install curl --with-openssl", so I might venture that curl-openssl is preferred for OSX when not selecting the option to build libressl and libcurl. For release builds we always build dependencies when possible. It takes longer but eliminates the concerns mentioned here.
