logic:iterate vs. bean:write

Ok, I'm stumped.

what do I need to do in order for the bean:write tag to correctly cast and
lookup properties within my object and not the TreeMap items within a
logic:iterate tag?


<logic:iterate id="item" name="results" type="myItem">
...
<bean:write name="item" property="name"/>
...
</logic:iterate>
