Subversion 1.2 for Mandriva Linux 2005

Hello,

Ok, I've not figured out yet why I can't get version 1.2 to install.
I'm still working on that... In the meantime, has anyone else
successfully installed SVN 1.2 under Mandriva Linux 2005?

Regards,

-Jeff

Really???? I'm having a heck of a time getting 1.2 to install. The
source compiles just fine, it's the install that is not working...

Yes. On three machines. Compiled from sources though, I don't know if you mean that or using RPMs.

Hi,

Why not bootstrap from source? It could be easier.

I tried to install Subversion 1.2 on my Apple iBook (running Tiger). I
used Fink but unfortunately, the packages from Fink's site are way too
old. After all, Fink failed to install it.

Then I bootstrap Subversion 1.2 from source. It works although without
Berkeley DB support. What I want is the client so that I can connect to
the server.

Give it a try. It could not be too difficult, I think.

Good luck.
