[jira] [Updated] (ODE-41) CXF Implementation of the IAPI

Tammo van Lessen updated ODE-41:
--------------------------------

    Description:
ODE provides an integration layer (IL) abstraction and currently implements ILs for Axis2 and JBI.

Given the healthy growth and success of CXF, an IL implementation for CXF can provide access to more integration features (Camel, more transports, more formats, etc.)

The CXF IL will further reduce the barrier to entry our users will face in considering ODE for their service orchestration needs.

Potential GSoC applicants should show very good Java skills, good knowledge of WS-*, CXF and WS-BPEL (especially about what "partner links" are and why they are needed).

(Tammo is willing to mentor this project)

  was:
Adding XFire to the available transport choices for ODE. The XFire hook will further reduce the barrier to entry our users will face in considering ODE for their service orchestration needs.

Cheers,

Zubin.
