> The recently introduced Kafka Streams Processor API (since 3.3, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-13654) likely has a bug with regards to using state stores. The [getStateStore|https://javadoc.io/static/org.apache.kafka/kafka-streams/3.3.1/org/apache/kafka/streams/processor/api/ProcessingContext.html#getStateStore-java.lang.String-] method returns null, even though the store has been registered according to the docs. The old transformer API still works. I created a small project that demonstrates the behavior. It uses both methods to register a store for the transformer, as well as the processor API: https://github.com/bakdata/kafka-streams-state-store-demo/blob/main/src/test/java/com/bakdata/kafka/StreamsStateStoreTest.java
