Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: DIREVE-49
Summary: JNDI Event Notification IBS
Type: Task
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Project: Directory Eve
Components:
interceptors
Assignee: Alex Karasulu
Reporter: Alex Karasulu
Created: Sat, 23 Oct 2004 11:12 AM

Description:
An event notification service will be rooted at this interceptor. Events will be defined for those interested in listening to operations in the server. We still need to iron out details for two kinds of the same event: synchronous verses asynchronous events. These events can be used as the basis for several other subsystems like for triggers.
For now we want to figure out how we can integrate this with JNDI so we can listen for certain operations taking place and respond to them.
