How to navigate from https <-> http

Hi,

How can I specify, in a navigation-rule or programmatically in an action,
that the response URL needs to be https or http?

I use the s:form to specify scheme="http(s)" but would like to have control
over this in the navigation-rules or the backing bean actions. Any pointers?
