I posted this earlier to the list, but it seems that not everybody was 
on at that point.

SWIG1.3 is busted, so we'll have to use 1.1p5 for now. Included is a
new patch for Xerces_wrap.cpp.

If this patch doesn't work for people it should be really easy to
apply by hand, there are 4 short changes in two chunks and I gave 10
lines of context in the patch.
