Newbie - multiple XML parsers ???

Is it a big no no to have more than one XML parser in your CLASSPATH ?

I have just noticed that I have xerces.jar & jaxp.jar, parser.jar in my 
CLASSPATH ?

I am running :
WindowsXP
JAVA   (j2sdk1.4.0_01)
Tomcat (jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4-LE-jdk14)
Struts (jakarta-struts-1.0.2)
MySQL  (mysql-max-3.23.52-win)

Is there a preferred parser to use with this setup.
