Replacing the URL looks good to me.

I imagine there's a lot to be discussed on when/how to change the name of a copyright holder; however in this case the URL is not a part of the contributor's legal name (per their 1998/2000 websites). I also don't believe we would have accepted the contribution in the first place if it pointed to a url so out of sorts with our mission.

As the URL isn't required, I also think it would be fine to remove the URL if you wished instead of the archive.org link.
