[jira] [Commented] (LANG-933) Request to support custom
DateFormatSymbols in FastDateFormat
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LANG-933?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14495108#comment-14495108 ]
Oleg commented on LANG-933:
---------------------------
For example, month names provided by Locale are not always usable.
In English there is no problem, because "October" never changes when used in a sentence. In other languages it does and default month names need customized, thus it would be useful to set custom month names for API user needs.
