We can't change SchemaIndexCacheVisitorImpl#DFLT_PARALLELISM at the moment:

    private static final int DFLT_PARALLELISM = Math.min(4, Math.max(1, Runtime.getRuntime().availableProcessors() / 4));

On huge servers with a lot of cores (such as 56) we will rebuild indexes in 4 threads. I think we should have ability to set DFLT_PARALLELISM in Ignite configuration.
