Testing release files

Hi All,

Time has come to test release binaries. I've done all changes to release
packaging I had planned, and now we have only source and binary releases. No
more jar or war releases. Please download builds from:

   http://people.apache.org/~vgritsenko/xindice/builds/

and give'em a spin. Let's iron out any wrinkles before rolling out final 1.1
release. Please also check a new upgrade instructions. They are in svn in the
community/howto/upgrading section, or html files can be found in any of the
builds in docs directory.

Let me know if there are any issues with proposed release packaging - or if
there are any upgrade issues.

Thanks,
Vadim

The latest build looks OK, didn't see any issues (tested on Windows and Linux).

Thanks,
Natalia

Yep my fault; I think I already fixed this one in build.xml. New builds are
coming up, with all the patches in. Hopefully last before release (people, stop
finding bugs already! ;-)

Vadim,

Zip source release does not look right, almost everything ended up in
lib directory.

I found some issues with rebuilding utility, bug + patch are submitted
to Bugzilla. This has to be applied before the release.

Thanks,
Natalia

Added build.xml back in; fixed permissions in the zip files; rebuilt; uploaded
to the same place - please check.

 Vadim,

no luck with the source distribution (tar.gz format) here:

 gianugo$ ./build.sh

Apache Xindice Build System
---------------------------
Buildfile: build.xml does not exist!
Build failed

Indeed, build.xml is not in the tar.gz. It's there in the zip file,
which has the minor nit of losing the execute permission on build.sh.

Ciao,

Fixed, rebuilt, uploaded:

Vadim,

Source release won't compile - it's missing dom3 code (java/dom3).
