[jira] [Resolved] (TS-1291) ignore query string in url
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-1291?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Leif Hedstrom resolved TS-1291.
-------------------------------
Resolution: Invalid
Assignee: Leif Hedstrom
You have a few options:
1) Write your own plugin to normalize the URLs.
2) Use for example the cacheurl plugin (https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=trafficserver-plugins.git;a=tree;f=cacheurl;h=671a22c1ab50459439c68440fad29554a52897d4;hb=HEAD).
I'm 99.9% certain that #2 is the option you should take. We'll merge these external plugins into the main git repository after v3.2, posting feedback on plugins stability and usability on dev@ mailing list is always appreciated. That will help us decide which plugins are stable, and should be in our source code releases.

> I use ATS 3.0.4 in reverse proxy cache. Is there any method to cache with ignore query string?
> For example request urls are not same, but contents are same. like below;
> request 1 : http://mysite.test.com/static/cs4.swf?clickthru=http://yoursite.test.com/main.asp?bcode=N04000000&mseq=177
> request 2 : http://mysite.test.com/static/cs4.swf?clickthru=http://yoursite.test.com/main.asp?bcode=N04000000&mseq=178
> request 3 : http://mysite.test.com/static/cs4.swf?clickthru=http://yoursite.test.com/main.asp?bcode=N04000000&mseq=179
> Actually, http://mysite.test.com/static/cs4.swf is same object.
> How to ignore query string like "?clickthru=http://yoursite.test.com/main.asp?bcode=N04000000&mseq=179"
> thanks.
