[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-9786) RabbitMQ consumer performance regression

Chris Ribble created CAMEL-9786:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: RabbitMQ consumer performance regression
                 Key: CAMEL-9786
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-9786
             Project: Camel
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: camel-rabbitmq
    Affects Versions: 2.17.0
            Reporter: Chris Ribble

We recently upgraded our application from Camel 2.16.2 to Camel 2.17.0

We see a noticeable 30 - 100ms (depending on environment) increase in runtime for all routes that consume from RabbitMQ.

Reverting to Camel 2.16.2 improves performance again, so it's not another change in our application.

Could this be related to the suspend changes in the RabbitMQConsumer in 2.17.0? https://github.com/apache/camel/commit/25350175b61d49ebaf05e6d139a72d213d284bfd
