PR #18794

Hi all,

I have recently put SIP-78 <https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/17852> up
for a vote and it passed, in light of this I have been working with Ville
to put up an initial pull request for some of this work. The PR can be
found here <https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/18794>.

This is the initial work, so APIs are subject to change and all work is
behind a feature flag. There are screenshots and videos covering the scope
of the PR, and there is also more work to do as outlined in the SIP. If
this interests you, or you have some feedback please comment.
