Evidently I made a mistake when putting the cxx and c flags into cmake.

[https://github.com/apache/nifi-minifi-cpp/blob/master/CMakeLists.txt#L302] is the culprit. If this runs on a system whose user has spaces ( I have one for testing purposes ) – it will cause a failure while building curl.
